In Kenya, The Pangea Network works tirelessly to uplift women in rural and urban communities through a variety of initiatives. Led by founder Nicole Minor, the non-profit organization provides entrepreneurship training, microloans, and business mentorship programs to help women launch and grow their own businesses. Additionally, Pangea supports education and healthcare initiatives, ensuring that women and youth have access to the resources they need to succeed.
One of the organization’s most impactful programs is their Kenyan Women’s Network program, led by the Country Director, Dorothy Ombajo, and the Kenyan team. Together, they work to empower women in urban and rural areas by providing life and business skills training supporting income activities in areas such as agriculture, artisan crafts, tailoring and other small-scale businesses. Through these efforts, Pangea is helping women break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for themselves and their families.
But The Pangea Network's reach extends beyond the borders of Kenya. In Texas, they run a dynamic program for high school aged female leaders, equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to become tomorrow's change-makers. Through mentorship, leadership training, and community service projects, Pangea is nurturing the next generation of female leaders and empowering them to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
